Advanced
Connective Tissue
Massage Course |
The
Advanced Connective Tissue Massage class is a qualitative shift
in working with fascia and learning how to create structural changes
in the body. These structural changes are dramatic in scope yet
simple to achieve through new, sophisticated techniques of fascial
palpation and manipulation. These new approaches enable students
to work deeper layers of fascia and to understand broader fascial
relationships in the body.

Movement
Education
The
four-day course builds upon the foundation of the beginning Connective
tissue Massage training by thoroughly reviewing and then expanding
on the fundamental principles of body mechanics. Movement exercises,
movement cues and guided imagery are taught to enhance results for
both practitioner and client alike. These techniques allow practitioners
to work more efficiently and with greater clarity of intention.

Body
Observation |
This
advanced class also transitions the students to learn body observation
skills, developing a whole new method to assess client needs. These
skills enable practitioners to more easily design and give a Connective
Tissue Massage session. Understanding the body observation will increase
the studentís massage practice as well as prepare them to learn Structural
Integration. |
